• Call for Submissions for Arts, Culture & Development Journal: Arts and Cultural Practices in Conditions of Unfreedoms

  We are inviting submissions from artist workers, teachers, scholars, and activists across creative practice-based perspectives, for a special issue called Arts and Cultural Practices in Conditions of Unfreedoms. We seek examples of creative projects which are practice-based, collective, community-focused, sustainability-minded, and centered on capacity-building, inclusive of the myriad ways practitioners are imagining or defining the role of arts and culture in social transformation.

• Call for Articles and/or Visual/Video Essays!

  11 October 2024

  We are inviting full manuscripts and/or visual/video essays for possible publication in Volume 2, Issue 1 to be published in December 2025 on a rolling submission basis. Authors can also submit abstracts for feedback from the editorial team.

  In order to meet the 2025 publication, we ask that full manuscipts and/or visual/video essays be submitted by May 31st, 2025. This issue will culminate at the end of December 2025. We are also inviting abstracts for either manuscripts and/or visual essays for Volume 2, Issue 1 to be published in 2025.
