Main Article Content
Abstract
Victory at the Battle of Lake Erie on September 10,1813, when Oliver Hazard Perry commanded nine American ships and defeated a British fleet under Captain Robert H. Barclay, required not one but at least three miraculous events. Fortunately, the miracles are certified by official records, and we may note judgmental interpretations of Perry’s actions by American and British literary and historical figures.
