Abstract
The 175th anniversary of the Battle of Lake Erie inspired a number of scholarly and popular events designed to commemorate the battle and celebrate the peace that followed. The War on the Great Lakes Symposium was held at Windsor, Ontario, and Put-In-Bay, Ohio, and resulted in the ten essays selected for this unique 154 page volume edited by two professors of history from Bowling Green State University.
