Abstract
’Nothing could have been nicer." This is a remark that was often repeated last evening after the day’s festivities were over, and it was certainly true. Early in the morning people from all sections of the county began to arrive, and by noon our streets were fairly swarming with good natured humanity. All the business houses and nearly all the private residences were gaily decked with the stars and stripes, and "old glory” was the guest of honor in every heart.
