Abstract
The Battles Collection of textiles and clothing for the summer 1997 exhibit at the Charlotte Elizabeth Battles Memorial Museum provides an insight into the shopping habits of the fashionable woman of that era. From further research we were able to determine what was available in clothing and accessories to women in Erie County at that time.
