"A Fully Accredited Ocean" Essays on the Great Lakes
Main Article Content
Abstract
For this collection, Victoria Brehm presents the works of various scholars and writers from Canada and the United States to represent the maritime history of the Great Lakes. The essays in “A Fully Accredited Ocean ” answer questions about the life, shipping, and the economy of the Great Lakes region. Thus Great Lakes maritime history is presented as more than storms and shipwrecks.
