Main Article Content
Abstract
This current study of the much-studied Battle of Lake Erie incorporated British, Canadian and American archival and published documents to arrive at some new insights into the preparation for and fighting of the famous naval battle of September 10, 1813. Excellent battle diagrams depict the ships’ maneuvers themselves and help the reader to understand the otherwise complicated course of this battle’s events.
