I first met the Boyd Family when we were neighbors on Lincoln Avenue. In 1936, the Boyd Family lived at 514 Lincoln Avenue and my family, the Carlow Family, lived at 414 Lincoln Avenue. Ann, the youngest Boyd, and I were six years old. Ann was a young victim of the dreaded polio and suffered a life long severe limp.
