About the Journal

The principal purpose of this peer-reviewed and bias-blind journal is to provide a means for publication of clinical and medical-based research completed by students enrolled at the Penn State College of Medicine. The objective of the work published within this journal is to provide research that can be utilized by clinical providers and clinical scientists alike to directly improve patient care.

Accepting Submission on a Rolling Basis

The Penn State Journal of Medicine is now accepting rolling submissions. First-author student submissions will be accepted from the following students: medical, physician assistant, nursing, and Ph.D. The next issue is planned for release in Fall 2023. All submissions will be screened by the editorial board to determine if they meet the mission statement and general guidelines. Read more.

The PSJM team offers congratulations to our 2022-2023 Editorial Fellows who successfully completed the first Editorial Fellowship Program. Our 2022-2023 editorial fellows were selected by our editorial board for representing the highest standard of peer review.
