Doctoral Student-Adviser Relationships in the United States: International Engineering Students' Perspective

Using a phenomenological research approach, this study uncovers the commonalities of the relationship between international engineering doctoral students and their advisers in the universities of the United States. It discusses how the advising relationship affects the continuation as well as the completion of doctoral studies of international doctoral students in U.S. engineering schools.References
