Meadowcroft: Portraits of Historic People

Abstract

No one knows the names of the frst people to set foot on the North American continent. No likenesses of their faces exist. In fact, after 19 millennia, there is barely any physical evidence at all. But we know they were here. Real people just like us. Bold people who pressed into an unknown land. They lived a diffcult life as hunter-gatherers following the available food resources as they moved across the primeval landscape of an unexplored continent.
