Abstract

OPTIMISTmain was a clinical trial examining low-intensity post-thrombolysis monitoring
compared to standard monitoring in patients with acute ischemic stroke. This article examines
the clinical trial’s data management, alongside the study’s statistical analysis plan, and reported
analytical results offering stroke clinicians insight into non-inferiority trial interpretation and
readiness for practice implementation.
