Author Biography

Don Carlton

Don Carlton is an academic adviser at Indiana University Bloomington and has a private counseling practice. Having earned a B.A. in communication arts and sciences at DePauw University and an M.A. in Tibetan Studies at IUB, he has had partial careers as a journalist, television show producer, advertising producer, restaurant manager, owner of a cleaning and maintenance business, and teacher in the university and in high schools. He plays and writes music, participates in a Lakota Sun Dance ceremony, and has climbed the Himalayas to meditate and do ritual with holy men and women in their caves.
