The role of advising and academic support services will continue to evolve as the mission and goals of urban postsecondary campuses change. Educators within advising and academic support services must be engaged in developing and providing relevant advising, retention, and academic support needed by urban campus students that help reinforce as well as support instructional teaching and learning.
