Abstract
Photos document pieces of the city that are gone and live on only in memory. They tell of buildings that succumbed to fire, a once-bustling wharf now buriedunder concrete, neighborhoods removed for redevelopment, and venues that became outdated and abandoned. Photos freeze moments in time, allowing us to "recreate" a portion of the past.
