Abstract
The Oakmont Carnegie Library is located at 700 Allegheny River Boulevard in Oakmont. The library traces its roots to 1899 when the Oakmont School Board passed a resolution to “provide a place and establish a free, non-sectarian public library for the general use of residents of this district.”
The Historical Society retains the right to reprint articles in any format or media, and retains the right to grant that permission to others.
