Looking for volunteers

Thanks to the work of our team of around 30 volunteers (https://journals.psu.edu/geomorphica/ourteam) we have successfully started the journal and our first two accepted papers are on the way to being published.

We are currently looking to increase our manuscript handling and tech teams (see description below). To become part of our team, you can email admin@geomorphica.org, with a short CV and which role you would like to volunteer to.

All our members will be trained for their tasks, and supported by the Geomorphica team. Therefore, you can apply even if you do not have previous experience in editorial work or publishing. 

We are specifically working to recruit a diverse team who can contribute toward an inclusive environment.

Manuscript handling team:

• managing editors, who perform initial checks and correspond with authors
• copyeditors, who do the manuscript layout once the manuscript is accepted
• proof readers, who proof read the accepted manuscripts

Tech team

Anything tech related, such as taking care of the website, developing an html version of manuscripts and any tech needs from the other teams
