First issue published

We are delighted to announce the publication of the very first issue of our diamond open access journal, marking a major milestone two years after we first opened for submissions. This inaugural issue features 10 original manuscripts and our editorial, showcasing the breadth and quality of research in geomorphology, with manuscripts published on various topics related to river dynamics, landslide hazards, aeolian processes, sediment transport, and tectonic geomorphology, covering works of field-based surveys, lab experiments, and numerical modelling.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the authors who trusted the journal with their work, as well as to the dedicated reviewers whose rigorous assessments helped to constructively improve the manuscripts. Our gratitude also goes out to the incredible team of volunteers whose hard work and commitment have brought the journal to life and keep it running smoothly, to PSU libraries for their incredible assistance and collaborative work, and to IAG for their continued support.

We invite new submissions on topics related to geomorphology. Whether your research focuses on fundamental processes, innovative methods, or applied studies, we welcome your contributions.

As we continue to grow, we are also seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our team, particularly in the tech and communications teams. We are especially happy to hear from individuals from diverse regions and background, as we strive to build an inclusive and global community.
